The Feast Day of Saint Katharine Drexel is on March 3rd. Saint Katharine Drexel was an American heiress, philanthropist, and religious sister who dedicated her life and inheritance to help oppressed and marginalized communities, particularly Native Americans and African Americans. She founded the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, a Catholic religious congregation that focused on helping those in need, and opened numerous schools and missions throughout the United States. On her Feast Day, we remember her devotion to serving those in need and her commitment to social justice.
