The feast day of Our Lady of Fatima is on May 13th. This day commemorates the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.
The Virgin Mary appeared to Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, on six different occasions between May 13th and October 13th, 1917. Mary revealed to them a message of repentance, prayer, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. She also showed them a vision of hell and a way to avoid it through prayer and sacrifice.
