The Feast Day of Blessed Daniel Brottier is on February 28th. He was a French priest who founded the Orphan Apprentices of Auteuil, an organization that cared for orphaned and abandoned boys. He also served as a military chaplain during World War I and was known for his courage and devotion to the soldiers. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1984.
